Father's Day at Lake Hartwell

Friday we drove 2.5 hours to Clemson, SC to the SC Botanical Gardens. This flower has appeared on my blog before from a Hilton Head trip.
Mimi came with us on this adventure. We also visited the University of Clemson Geology Museum before checking into our lake house rental for the weekend.
Per Josh's request, I found a place by the lake to enjoy.
The kids were easily entertained playing in the water.
Kayaks were included with the place so on our 1st morning Josh and I took them out to explore a nearby island.
It was borderline tropical and even had a sandy beach.
To up the fun factor the kids discovered jumping off the dock with the floats.
I was surprised how much everyone liked kayaking.
Mimi seemed to enjoy them the most.
We spent most of our time at the lake but did stop by the pool one time.
On Sunday, Father's Day, we rented a boat and spent the day on the water.
Celebrating this awesome guy & amazing DAD!
The kids favorite part was tubing! Their 1st time.
The view from the boat. Addy & Jackson could go all day.
Stopping for a swim.
This child must jump!!!
By the end of the day, ALL of the kids were sleeping on the boat as we pulled into the marina.
In the evenings the kids caught a few fish with their fishing poles.
Fun & Relaxing vacation was had by all.
