Annual Domier Christmas Party

This year I went to Vince & Barclay's party by myself and Josh graciously stayed home with the kids. His mom wasn't able to make it here to babysit due to the snow storm. The party theme was Greek TOGA.

Several couples are not included in the pictures because they had gone home.

Falling for Another Man

I'm really starting to bond with Aaron now.

I'm especially excited that he's sleeping in his crib well at night and for naps.

He'll be 6 weeks old on Monday.

At his 1 month doctor's appointment he measured 90th percentile in all areas.

Another big Neubauer baby boy. He's already 12 lbs. Although he looks unusually large in this picture.

The kids have been wonderful! They play together all day long and don't even fight much.

Snowstorm

Josh had a good old time this morning with his new toy plowing 1ft of snow off our driveway. Much thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Wilkerson for our best Christmas present ever.

Addy's New Haircut

We were trying to grow Addy's hair out but it started getting very thin and stringy at the ends. So I decided to cut it. The results are worth showing off.

Visit from Grandma & Grandpa Neville

This weekend my dad and stepmom came to meet Aaron and celebrate Christmas with us. Thank you guys for coming all the way from Ohio to see us and for the gifts.
The kids were able to play outside in the snow for the first time this season.

Christmas Pictures

Here's my attempt at taking Christmas pictures. I don't think they are postcard worthy.

First Snow of the Season

Yesterday Josh was excited to use our new snow blower for the first time. And tomorrow another 3-5'' is expected. We don't mind the pretty snow since we're trying to stay home with the new baby for as long as possible.

We've been doing much better around here. My body seems to be healing, finally and nursing is no longer painful. Addy and Jackson have been wonderful. They are starting to enjoy the baby more and more, especially Addy. She can even stop him from crying just by talking to him.

My boys don't look alike as babies. Jackson is about 2 weeks older in his picture. We think Aaron will look more like Addy.

Aaron Paul Neubauer

Our baby boy finally arrived Monday around 5:30pm weighing 8lb 12oz and measuring 21" long. My water 1/2 broke around 9am and contractions started 1-2 hours later. Grandma Neubauer was already here to take the kids. Josh came home from work we headed for the hospital. The doctor (Hubbell) ended up giving me pitocin to speed things along but breaking the rest of my water dilated me fully in an hour. The epidural was the worst part as they messed it up on the first try and had to give it a second time. I only had to push for 5 min and he was born. I had some bleeding issues afterward and lots of painful contractions. That's the very shortened and sweetened story.
Aaron was so calm the first 24 hours of life. He didn't cry much and he wouldn't nurse at all which worried Josh and I. But thankfully last night he started acting more like a baby crying and wanting to nurse. His temperament seems similar to Jackson's. And he's got the sweetest little cry.
I think he looks so much like Josh since his hair is dark. He also looks similar to Addy when she was a baby but his cry is way quieter.
Here he is this evening sleeping peacefully. We're all looking forward to tomorrow when the kids come home from Grandma's house and get to meet their new little brother.
