Fall Break in Moab, Utah!!

Friday Oct 18th, we flew to Denver, ate at IN-N-Out Burger, and drove the rest of the day (even through snow) to Moab, Utah.
Here's the view early Saturday morning from Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn.
They had an amazing free breakfast!
Time to hike! That muddy water is the Colorado River.
The most difficult part was climbing this chain.
Bowtie Arch along the way.
The magnificant Cornona Arch, an easy 2.3 mile hike, just outside of Arches National Park.
We were here 5 years ago but it was Aaron and Benny's 1st time.
Our computer background at home has a similar picture.
Next we headed to Arches NP, with a timed entry ticket, and hiked to Tower Arch.
It was an easy 2.4m and our 1st time.
The boys went in and up the other side to explore.
The view from inside the arch, looking out.
Marching Men formations in the background, on our way back.
After wood fired pizzas, at the overpriced Antica Forma, we checked-in to our condo rental.
The guys enjoyed Bocce Ball even more than the pool and hot tub.
Sunday morning, on our way to Canyonlands National Park via the open range.
Our 1st visit to the Needles district, named after the structures seen in the background.
We had two big hikes to choose from in the area. We picked Druid Arch. It was a moderate 9.7 miles.
Even though it doesn't look difficult, this was the trickiest part. We struggled to get up the slick rock.
A significant portion of the hike was along this beautiful river bank.
The 150ft tall and magnificant Druid Arch!
Views in the opposite direction where just as beautiful! Notice Josh for perspective.
Rare family photo.
Crazy bouldering on the way down.
It started raining shortly after we got back to the car. Phew!!
On our last day, we had to see the iconic Delicate Arch! It's the BEST and is only 3.2 miles.
We were fortunate to get 6 permits to the Fiery Furnace!!!
It was definately the boys favorite.
Exporation is encouraged.
Some dead ends lead to secret arches like this one.
The permit required us to meet with a park ranger and watch an informative video.
My favorite picture due to the lighting in the canyon. We exited through the slot on the left.
A more difficult obstacle to get up and over. Benny made it under in the dark.
Jackson by the Kissing Turtles formation.
One of the prettiest views, I remembered this part from last time.
There is a general trail, I had on my phone just in case, that's about 2 miles.
Only the thinnest person in our family would attempt.
This one is called Surprise Arch!
According to the park, there are over 2000 arches.
Exiting the Fiery Furnace.
Thank you Utah for another fun adventure.
We spent our last night in Vail then drove to Denver the next morning.
Grandpa and Grandma Neville had us over for a delicious breakfast before our flight home. So glad we got to visit with them!
