Addy's 1st Haircut

Addy had her very 1st haircut in Cincy with a girl I graduated with from high school. She was great! She mostly enjoyed making faces at herself in the mirror. I also got mine cut and she sat on my lap the entire time.

Visit with Grandma & Grandpa Neville

We traveled to Wilmington, OH to celebrate a delayed Christmas, due to our sicknesses, with my Dad & step-mom Sandy. Addy was most excited about a buddy for her "Lamby".

Christmas in Cincinnati, OH

Despite Jackson's sickness, we traveled Sat. night to OH to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family. Addy & Josh ended up sick on Sunday so they were in bed most of the day. I got a fever Sunday night but was lucky not to get the stomach troubles. It was a rough start but we were all healthy on Christmas Day.

Here's Addy decorating cookies with her Grandma and Aunt Ashley.

The weather was beautiful on Christmas Day as we prepared to travel to Urbana, OH for the annual celebration at Great Grandpa & Grandma's.

My brother & sister.

The great annual Christmas Day celebration with the family...Great G&G Wilkerson, us, Uncle Dave, Aunt Lynda, Jacob, & Josh Pendleton, Aunt Poo, Uncle Turk, Mallory & Luke McDevitt.

Christmas with Grandpa & Grandma Neubauer

Josh's parents, Joyce & Jeff, came from Beloit, WI Friday and stayed overnight. Josh and his dad worked on some home projects and cooked lots of yummy food while the girls played with the kids and talked. Jackson got sick with the stomach flu.

Laurel's 1st Birthday Party

Saturday we traveled in a snowstorm to Milwaukee to celebrate Laurel Fox's 1st birthday. Her parents, Meghan & Brad, are REALLY close friends of ours. I met Meghan during freshmen orientation 10 years ago at Marquette. We lived on the same floor and had the same major as biomedical engineers. And Brad came along a few years later as the hometown boyfriend. Josh and I were honored to be in their wedding. They moved to Florida after college and we took many awesome vacations to visit them. Last summer Meghan got a job at GE that she couldn't turn down so they are back in Milwaukee and we are so happy to have them close. We love you guys.

P.S. When we moved back to Gurnee, Meghan & Brad helped us paint & unpack, which was quite the job. Actually, they helped me move after college from Milwaukee to Grayslake into Country Faire Village apartments.

This is a picture of our small group aka bible study. Our life is enriched by the time we spend with these people talking and learning about God.

And here's Stacia who graciously babysits for us every Wed. so we can go. She's a friend who is a full time staff member at our church.

Family Visit

This weekend my mom, sister Ashley and brother Christopher drove up from Cincinnati, OH to stay with us. We had tons of fun and lots of laughs. They even helped us decorate our new ebay Christmas tree. We missed you Mark.

Thanksgiving at the Wrezinski's

We traveled to Bloomington, IL to celebrate Thanksgiving with Josh's Uncle Bernie, Aunt Beth & cousin Brady along with Grandma & Grandpa Neubauer. The guys had target practice so Josh was happy to use his new birthday gift - yikes!

Chicago Trip

This weekend we stayed downtown at the Ritz-Carlton for Josh's work conference. Here's a picture from our hotel room window.

Here's our room. Josh even bought a new sport coat for the occassion.

I mostly shopped and walked around during the day. I was most impressed by Bloomingdale's HUGE Christmas tree.

Saturday night there was a parade and lights festival on Michigan Ave. The kids would have liked the Disney characters. We ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, relaxed and had a great time together. Many thanks to Josh's parents for graciously watching the kids.

Our New Neighbors

We moved into our house August 10th and were thrilled to find out our next door neighbors are the exact same age as us and have a little girl named Reese only 2 months older than Jackson. Every Sunday we've started having dinner together and take turns hosting. Hopefully, we'll become very close friends.

Painting Project

So I've decided to paint the staircase spindles white. We've got 90 total and I'm almost done with the 2nd coat.

Wrezinski's Visit

This weekend we had a blast hosting Josh's parents and extended family. The Wrezinski's came all the way from Bloomington, IL to stay with us. Love you guys!
