Weekend at Steph's

My amazing friend Stephanie invited our family to her new cabin on Lake Fontana.
The lake access is currently a nice trout fishing stream. Notice Khan, Steph's fiance down stream.
He caught the one and only fish of the weekend. Which was cooked and eaten quickly.
The kids favorite part was playing in the water, of course.
They made it pretty far across even though the water was cold. Lead by their fearless leader Addy. So proud she still plays so well outside and with younger kids.
Giant bamboo stick. What is their plan with this one?
We enjoyed several bonfires and smores.
Grill out!! Food for days.
An overlook on the way to Fontana Dam.
A neat view of the dam. It's the 12th largest in the country.
Looking inside the giant area where the water is released.
On our walk across the dam.
Steph & I with a view of Lake Fontana in the background.
These sweet children get along so well. They are often seen in a clump. I'll miss their friend circles someday.
One last night game! Code Names is our new favorite.
Thanks Stephy for an awesome weekend and so many fun memories. Love these people!

Happy Easter!

We spent Easter Sunday at church & Mimi's house with a delicious meal and egg hunt.
Best family picture we've taken in a LONG time.
Awww. I love this couple picture too!
Beautiful springtime azaleas in the front yard. One of my favorite signs of springtime.
Easter egg hunt with the Molskness crew. Everything is more fun with friends. Bruce & Kristie went out for their birthdays while we entertained the kiddos.
Sweet Lainey holding the kitty. I need to wash that blanket!
Recent field day turned game day due to rain with the Molskness. We also had a birthday celebration for Bruce. Thanks Kristie for feeding all of us.
Yay for hiking season!! We made it to Jones Gap State Park just over the border in SC.
We went on a 5 mile round trip hike to Rainbow Falls.
A full view. I'm excited the kids can handle longer hikes now.
More springtime blooms. Mountain Laurel.
