Milwaukee Getaway

Thanks Grandma Neubauer for our wonderful Christmas gift, an overnight stay at the Pfister without children. Here's our view from the 21st floor.
We enjoyed a much needed break and feel so refreshed. This was our room.

Breathing Treatments

Addy's still sick! I had to take her to the doctor again this morning with a high fever and really bad cough. They couldn't find any signs of infection but her oxygen levels were low so they gave her a breathing treatment. We're going back again tomorrow to determine if she needs a chest x-ray. In the meantime, I'm giving her breathing treatments to try and control her cough and praying her fever will go down by morning.

Double Ear Infections

Thursday and Friday were our 3rd and 4th trips to the doctor since Monday. Aaron and Addy were diagnosed with ear infections in both ears. Addy's was so bad they prescribed pain drops to put directly in her ear. Poor babies.

Shut Ins

Sick...with a runny nose. And I've been giving him Tylenol at night because he's waking up with molars and canines coming in.
Sicker...with double pink eye and croup. We had to take a trip to urgent care late last night. His coughing was so bad that we had to get a steroid treatment. (Sporting a cute new haircut. I'm bored so I cut hair to keep busy.)
Sickest...with bronchitis in both lungs. Symptoms include high fever and tons of coughing. (She asked if she could use some lotion because her face was dry. "Don't worry mom, it will soak in.")
Overall, we're doing good. Thankfully we're all homebodies and there's a beautiful snowstorm today. I'm also thankful for modern medicine and antibiotics that will help my kids feel better soon. Please pray that my baby doesn't get what the kids have and that the medications do their jobs.
