Happy Halloween!

The kids got glow-in-the-dark skeleton pjs from Grandma and Grandpa Neville. What a fun gift! They wear them all the time. Thanks so much.
Addy's preschool had a parade and party on Friday.
I broke down and bought Jackson a dinosaur costume after he kept telling me he was going to be one for Halloween. I got so lucky at Sears and found one for $9.99.
My sweet baby. He borrowed this costume from my brother's girlfriend.
The trick-or-treating crew. Joyce provided the adult costumes. Notice the baby in the doorway. We hit every house in the neighborhood.
Jackson loved his costume so much he wouldn't even take it off for naptime. This is the first year Jackson would wear a costume and he was very bashful about it.

Cincinnati Trip

Last weekend we made a visit to see my family. Here's the entire gang, the blond is my brother's girlfriend Sandy, and my sister Ashley is missing.
Jackson with his new turtle friend that lives in my mom's front yard.
Josh and my brother played frisbee golf on the most beautiful course ever in northern Kentucky. The flat rock is the tee.
Jackson with my brother.
This is what happens when you tell a 3 year old to smile for a picture.

September Update

My baby loves dolls. None of my other kids played with them.
So dangerous walking around outside. This child keeps me on my feet.
He's had 2 bloody lips (top & bottom), a bloody nose, and two head hits just this week, one going head first out of the stroller onto the garage floor and the other pulling a wooden table on top of himself.
Josh's nickname for Aaron is "handsome".
Crazy wild boy face.
Another goofy boy face.
Fake nice boy smile. Josh's nickname for Jackson is "Scoop" and mine is "Squeeze".
Sporty girl in dressup clothes.
Nice hit "Sis"!
Addy's artwork:
A herd of peacocks.
Rainbow bunny.
Scene with a dinosaur by a lake.
Alligator.
Turkey.
Bird flying over tree.

More Nocturnal Creatures
We recently tried tuna as bait and caught 2 small possums. Last night we got skunk #4, who is currently awaiting death in our side yard. Josh didn't have time this morning. I thought I'd try camping in the backyard with the kids sometime, but changed my mind.

2nd Degree Burn
I burned my hand when the teapot lid came off while I was pouring boiling water.
I had the worst day ever keeping it cool in water while taking care of kids with one hand. I eventually had to call Josh to come home early and miss a meeting.
I'm almost healed, besides some red peeling skin. I'm so thankful it was me and not the kids.
