To Glamp or Not to Glamp
We met these guys in Blowing Rock earlier this month for a free glamping weekend but the place was overbooked. So instead we hiked!
The Bass Lake trail. Bruce is pretty happy about it.
We left the trail on a short cut through this cow pasture. Thankfully no cows charged us, they were pretty close. Yikes!
We found this very cool barn that was so picturesque.

The hike back down. We rewarded ourselves with dinner at the Mellow Mushroom in Blowing Rock.
So fun even though we didn't get to glamp this time. We're trying again Labor Day weekend.
