OHIO for the 4th

We drove a hefty 9 hours to the farm country of Waupakoneta, Ohio to visit extended family, my Aunt Poo & Uncle Turk.
Evening hayride to see the fireworks.
Jackson learning to drive the 4 wheeler!
Our new preferred mode of transportation, this time to a nearby fishing pond.
It was such a beautiful day and the color of the pond was so pretty.
Uncle Turk got the kids setup and Benny was the 1st one to catch a fish.
Then Aaron.
And this one was Jackson's. Addy's friend Ava came with us too. It's a great tradition to have her for the 4th.
After lunch it was time to swim!! Benny jumping off the dock. He's so awesome.
I'd have to say pond swimming was one of the highlights of this trip.
Fish face. HA!
And one last famous Benny jump.
Another memorable activity, several cut throat games of life size Jenga, homemade by the very talented Turk.
The neighborhood historian teaching the kids about gun powder before shooting off several of his very unique cannons.
He showed us some of his treasures inside too.
YAY!! My favorite grandma and Jim came for the day to see us. LOVE them lots!
The kids spent many hours playing in the barn of fun, as they call it, playing mostly wiffleball. And the very biggest kids, Josh & Turk, played the entire time too.
Bonfire with smores and a beautiful sunset. The fireflies were also so neat in the field.
Just one last ride before leaving. THANKS so much for having us Poo & Turk!! We had a blast.
We made a quick stop at COSI in Columbus, OH on our way to Cincinnati. It was free with our passes. But we weren't too impressed. And it was really crowded.
Josh playing in the pool with cousin Mason & the kids. What a guy!
On the drive home this crew was exhausted. Jackson did not enjoy the ride, he puked twice! Poor guy.
The boys were so happy to play LEGOS when they got home.
