August Birthdays

Josh's 41st birthday feel on a Saturday. As a special activity, we went to Lake Norman Mini Golf. And no, I didn't let him win just because it was his birthday. Ha!
Then we went out to lunch afterwards. Going out to eat is always a special treat.
And of course there were gifts and dinner with Mimi in the evening. She couldn't resist getting his favorite tres leches cake.
Two days later we celebrated Jackson's 12th birthday!! Mimi baked him lemon bars. These guys prefer the non traditional birthday treats.
Presents were the highlight.
Including his very favorite gift, a real coyote pelt, from G&G Neville in Colorado.
To complete their birthday weekend, Josh & Jackson went backpacking up to Sam's Knob. Josh took this amazing picture!
