Transitions
On August 20th we celebrated Jackson's 8th birthday!
Jackson chose lemon bars as his cake so Josh made it for him. He also ate his other favorite food, jalapenos poppers, for lunch.
As a fun birthday activity, Jackson wanted to go downtown to the art museum. Josh and I took just him and everyone else stayed home with Grandma.
It worked out great that it was Wednesday free admission night.
The best part is making your own art with endless types of supplies, all for free. We made magnets to take home for the frig.
August 21st was the first day of kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grades.
I miss having Aaron at home. He's doing great in school. Easiest child ever!
We went to the first friday night football game.
The kids LOVE going to the game to see friends and eat.
We're finally having some 90 degree days. I'm not complaining since the summer has been so nice.
Grandma moved into her cute little house last week. She's loving her new neighbors and home. We've been over often and can't believe we only have to drive a short 10 minutes to see her.
