NC Winter Wonderland

Christmas Day 2021!!

We started the morning at our house opening gifts.

And making a fun mess in the living room.

Then we headed to Mimi's for more celebrating.

She was excited to FINALLY get an electric piano!

After gifts, we ate a delicious meal and played games for the rest of the evening.

Here's Aaron the next day enjoying his new phone and time off school.

We had friends over another day and enjoyed some amazing weather.

And so many glorious sunrises and sunsets over the holidays.

One week back to school. Then Jackson tests positive Sun, Aaron Mon, Addy Wed and Joyce with mild symptoms. The kids had low fevers for a day, headaches the next, then better!

The kids missed school all week but luckily were virtual Thurs and Fri since so many teachers and students were out. And LOOK what we got!

Enough snow to sled and make snowballs == plenty!

Josh was finally successful at growing these cool mushrooms. We even ate them!!

One week later...

More snow!! Unbelievable. The kids were never off school because the snow kept coming on Friday nights.

This time we had the Molskness crew over and the kids built a ramp.

One of my besties, my friend Kristie! I'm thankful their family only lives 2 miles away.

I LOVE these two sweet girls! Norah is so much like a sister to Addy.

We took another woods walk. I love this picture! These siblings are also very close friends. Makes my momma heart happy. Jackson has finally surpassed Addy in height!!!

I cannot even believe that on Feb 1st my baby turned 11!

Benny LOVES his birthday! He invited his 3 closest school friends.

Phew! It's been cold but beautiful. We're ready for warmer days ahead.
