Lake Jocassee

For Josh's 42nd & Jackson's 13th birthdays, we took a mini trip to Devil's Fork State Park.
We came to see the lake that is one of the clearest, cleanest, and most beautiful in the area.
So we rented a boat for a few hours to explore it.
One unique feature that I wanted to see was the WATERFALLS that flow into the lake! The boat barely fit to see this one.
We parked in this peaceful cove to swim up to the falls, to the right of the rock.
Or climb up in Josh's case, see him on top? I floated in on my tube. The water was really warm but colder as you got closer.
I think he had a fun birthday!! Thankful for every year I get to spend with him.
Another beautiful waterfall.
As seen from my float. HA!
Oh look what we found, the jumping rock!
This child has no fear. Go Benny!
The water was crazy clear. Fun to explore with snorkels.
Jackson jumping. Another brave person. Addy also jumped once but wouldn't let me take her picture.
There she is!
Josh's drive off the dock near the cabin.
The boys jumping off the dock, just after a rain. You can see their fingers if you look close.
Evening games on the porch of the cabin we stayed 2 nights with quite the view.
When we got home we celebrated Jackson's birthday!! He seems way older and looks way younger. LOVE him more than words.
