Trip to Orlando

Last Friday morning we took off school and work to travel south. 1st stop Blue Springs State Park. What's everyone looking at?
MANATEES migrating to the warm FL springs for the winter!!
Awww. There's even babies.
The park had a boardwalk to walk along and explore the spring.
And see almost 200 manatees!
Such a memorable experience for the entire family.
We had dinner than arrived at the hotel in Orlando just after dark. The next morning...
The 1st area we came to was mini-land. The kids especially loved the stars wars area.
Benny! Stop punching Darth in the crotch.
Washington DC was also a hit since we've been there recently.
The roller coaster riders! Addy and Aaron sat out for the fast rides.
Another coaster, this one had virtual lego lands while riding a real coaster.
Josh and brave little Benny. This was parks newest ride. I tried not to scream but couldn't help it!
Lego Ninjago land had fabulous displays.
And a 4D ride in the dark.
There was a cute water sky show with pirates while we ate our packed lunches.
And a botanical gardens with this beautiful banyan tree!
Lego knights coaster.
There was plentiful stores with legos galore. Hey, that rhymes!
Build your own mini figure shop. Even Addy was into it.
What a fun place! So much to see and do.
Our last day in Florida was the most exciting & anticipated. Universal Studios!! A generous Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa Neville.
It was a very wet day. But it wasn't crowded and there were no lines. We'll take it!
Our 1st ride was the classic ET Adventure. Everyone rode it!
Then we bought a Simpsons doughnut in Springfield. The kids & Josh LOVE the show so it was neat to see the land. We all rode the Simpsons 4D ride but Josh got pretty green. I kept my eyes shut to lesson the effect.
Men in Black Alien Attack. The kids saw the movie just before we left.
Harry Potter land. Everyone's favorite! It looked just like the movie. We ordered Butter beer and it was a big hit.
The stores were so unique and very cool to explore.
Aaron brought his wand to use to interact with some displays.
Everyone but Addy road the premier Harry Potter ride. It was really fun! I was proud of Aaron for riding.
Next we rode the Return of the Mummy Ride twice! I was too scared to go on the 1st time but the boys begged me to go. It ended up being my very favorite!! Sweet Jackson calmed my fears.
The guys rode the 4D Transformers ride then we watched the Animal Actors show.
It was entertaining and something different. Then we headed back to the hotel to get dry.
What a blast!! Looks like Josh used up his dad energy for the day.
THANK YOU so much Grandma & Grandpa Neville for the fun family memories and an experience we won't forget!
