Fall Happenings

On my birthday I got to go to a conference at Northpoint in Atlanta. A bunch of people from our church took a bus down together.
We experienced some awesome worship and even got to bring home a CD with the songs. Another highlight was seeing Andy Stanley speak live.
The best part was seeing my friend Suzanne. She attends Northpoint and her husband Tim works there. We've been friends since 5th grade. She was even in my wedding. Love you girl!
My dad and Sandy came all the way from Boulder, CO to visit us for a long weekend. It was especially fun having them stay at our house.
We all went trick or treating in Mimi's neighborhood while her and Jackson passed out candy.
The kids wore the same costumes from last year or ones we already had.
Another day we travelled to Chimney Rock and ate lunch along the French Broad River.
The drive there was brutal. Both Jackson and Aaron puked! Luckily we were ready with lots of trash bags.
I feel bad this is the only picture I got with Sandy in it. Better than nothing I guess.
The best part of the trip was the Hickory Nut Falls hike. The most impressive falls I've seen.
All the good pictures were taken with my dad's iphone. I really need a new phone!
We took several walks in the woods behind our house, even in the pouring rain. This is the highest I've ever seen the creek.
We hiked back to the lake and it was so pretty in fall colors.
Benny is showing me a snail he caught that's crawling on his finger.
Josh got free tickets to the Panthers vs Packers game. Great game. Panthers won and are undefeated. I'm choosing to be a Panthers fan because I love Charlotte!
This sweet child turned 7 on November 10th. I met him at school for a special happy meal lunch. Then he got to go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner with just Josh and I.
Grandma came over for cake and presents. Here's everyone working together on building the new lego set.
