Camping Birthday Celebrations

On August 18th Josh turned 35. And on the 20th Jackson turned 6. For the double birthday weekend we went camping! Here's a picture of the pond at the campgrounds.
The Happy Acres Campground in Bristol, WI was about 20 minutes away. It was perfect for little ones. We'll for sure go back again.
Josh liked fishing even though he didn't catch anything. We blame it on the pond.
All the kids loved running down the big sand pile into the water.
No time to change into bathing suits when you're having fun.
It was great to have an activity that all the kids liked so the adults could spend some time talking.
The weather was fantastic! Low 70s and sunny during the day and low 50s at night.
Here's our beautiful campsite! We had woods in the back and no one on either side.
A view of the inside of our tent. The baby didn't sleep over, thankfully he slept at home with Grandma Neubauer. We couldn't have done it without you Joyce!
Jackson opening his gifts. Aaron was just as excited about the gifts as Jackson.
Grandma Neubauer eating a giant smores. Her and Benny stayed both days and only left at night so they were around for all the fun.
Jackson and Aaron played together with Jackson's new toys the entire time. They were such cute little best friends. Here they are in the morning playing again.
Jackson was impressed by the size of Josh's fishing worms.
Here's what the boys were busy doing all night. Building with monster fighter legos. Addy and I helped build and the boys played with what we made.
The boys even went to the bathroom together. And this wasn't the only picture I took. So nice to be a boy!
Still playing with lego guys at the playground.
Sweet little Benny enjoyed exploring the grounds with Addy while the boys played at the beach or campsite.
Addy's favorite part was petting the horses.
They even had a pony.
Benny loved the goats and decided on his own to feed them his Apple Jacks.
The baby at the arcade. This campground had everything!
Josh's birthday celebration complete with cake, gifts, and family.
