Saying Goodbye

The last two weekends we've spent most of our time in Beloit. Josh's dad, Jeff, took a turn for the worst shortly after celebrating his 60th b-day on April 9th. He'd been battling lung cancer for the last 4-5 years. Josh's brother was able to fly home and be with Jeff a few days before he went to be with the Lord on April 14th. He will be greatly missed but we are all comforted to know we will see him again. If you'd like to see his obituary it's at http://www.daleymurphywisch.com/

Here's a picture of the kids the day we were in town planning the funeral.

I just want to give a special thanks to...my neighbor, Nicole, for coming over in the middle of the night to stay with the kids so we could make an emergency trip to Beloit...my parents for staying here over a weekend to watch the kids so we could spend time in Beloit...for all our friends who came to the visitation, Jeff, John, Ben, Pete, Flanagan's, Elliott's, Wamsley's, Davis's, Pittman's...for everyone who sent flowers to the funeral home, Dad & Sandy, Domier's, Chevier's, McMahon's, Lyman's, our small group, Forward Dental, The Chapel...and to everyone who sent cards or called us, Coffman's, Klemps, and so many others. Your prayers have brought us peace, so much so that we all wondered why were weren't more sad. We feel so loved by you all.
